1790 Hawen church, Cardiganshire. ‘The name of the first chapel here was Tynewydd Troedyraur, and the second chapel was called Rhydhawen, which was built in 1790. There was a very powerful revival about the time that the second chapel was built.’ [HEAC iv. 178]
