Inverary (1862)

In Inveraray we had three open-air meetings, the last of which was specially owned of the Spirit in the awakening of sinners. We invited the anxious to a large room, which was at once filled, and the Rev. Mr Hinshelwood of Haddington gave a most solemn and powerful address from the words "Ye are condemned already." All were brought to feel their utter helplessness; but, blessed be God, some were enabled to behold the Lamb and go away rejoicing in a present salvation.
