Killean (1859)

In this district the work of revival is progressing very favourably. The instances in which much bodily excitement has been manifested are few and are becoming fewer, while those who give evidence of the depths of their feeling by sobbing and silent weeping are becoming more numerous, and not a few have given no other tokens of the depth and sincerity of their sorrows than the air of solemnity, anxiety, and earnestness their countenances wore, who, when visited in their own homes, readily confessed to their inward struggle. The spiritual guides of the parish are doing all in their power to forward the good work.-Argyleshire Herald.
