Perkinsville

In 1856 a new village was built at Perkinsville, and two local preachers arrived there William Holland and Emmanuel Strong. Another start was made, and in 1858-9 a spiritual awakening of considerable force affected the whole neighbourhood. About 150 persons were converted.
