Evan Roberts Workplace (1902)
In September of 1902 Roberts gave up coal mining and became a blacksmith. He took up a three year apprenticeship with his uncle in Fforest, near Pontardulais, four miles from his home. At this time all his free time was taken up with the Lord. He would read the Bible for hours, oblivious to the noises around him.
