Milford (1859-1860)

RENEWAL OF THE REVIVAL - On Monday evening, (23rd April), the Revd Richard Smyth of Derry preached at Milford, near Armagh. When in the middle of his discourse one after another was seized with deep conviction of sin. One girl, on being removed, cried out most vehemently, 'Oh Jesus, Jesus, Jesus'. Many waited after the meeting to speak and pray with those who were distressed. One girl, to whom sin seemed a very grievous thing, speedily found peace and joy in believing on Jesus. - Banner of Ulster.
