Knock (1935-1939)

The revival on 1886-8 began a couple of months before the new minister arrived.

Revival came again in 1835-6 and 1938-9. The Free Church in Knock at that time was the largest on the island. I believe also that the revival of 1921/2 would have also come here, but I can find no reference.

For more information see, ‘Glory in the Glen,’ by Tom Lennie, p279, 293,346-7, 352 and ‘Sounds from Heaven, by Colin and Mary Peckham (for details of the 1949-52 revival), both published by Christian Focus Publications.

Additional Information

It appears that no old church remains.
