Thank God there has been, and still is, a good work going on here. Upwards of thirty have passed from death unto life, old and young. Also in our Sabbath-school, several children have been converted, and others are under deep conviction. The writer of this article is one of the brands plucked from the burning. I was convicted of sin on the 20th of April last. The power of God came down upon me, almost as suddenly as a flash of lightning, and my body almost felt it like an electric shock, and, thank God, he turned my heart of stone into a heart of flesh. I was under deep, deep conviction until the Tuesday following, when God, for Christ's sake, spoke peace to my soul. I thank God he has also brought my wife into the narrow path that leads to glory.
