Ulverstone - Salvation Army (1882)



A publican here says he shall soon have to shut up shop for six of his best customers have got converted. One man who has been the greatest drunkard in the town of Ulvaston and who has been committed to prison 45 times and many a time for 15 lashes today with the “Cat“, has got gloriously saved. He used to beat his wife but now his wife has come to the feet of Jesus and they are both praising the Lord all day long. During the six weeks the army has been here upwards of 300 have sought Salvation.
