Monmouth (1877)

MONMOUTH. -A series of evangelistic addresses, extending over a fortnight, contacted by George Hefford, of the Evangelisation Society has just been concluded. This was Mr Hefford's third visit to Monmouth and it was deeply interesting to observe the earnestness and regular attendance of many who had received spiritual blessing during former meetings of a similar character. This visit has not been without blessed results. A party of recruits connected with the militia attended each evening.

"The Christian," May 3rd, 1877.
