Blantyre (1859)

At the Religious Institution Rooms on Friday last, an old man rose and said that the work of God is progressing at Blantyre He stated that there had been twenty hopeful conversions and a great many inquirers. He had attended prayer-meetings in that place for forty years, but had never seen the Spirit of God working so manifestly as at the present time. In a Sabbath-class of ten there were two cases of apparent conversion and four inquirers.
