Thornhill United Presbyterian Church (1860-1861)

About 600 to 700 were crowded into the church. An awakening took place and nw I believe meetings are frequently held alternately in the U. P. Church at Thornhill, the Free Church at Penpont, and the U. P.Church at Burnhead, these places being within 11/2 miles of each other. Large meetings are held there night after night and I believe a most blessed work is going on oin the district. (E P Hammond gave an impetus to this move of God)
